great! can you update this with a snow fort for kids for a snow ball fight? Wall made up of snowballs that has a few frames of being destroyed after being hit?

Does the license allow use in commercial video games?

yes, you can use it in games! i've updated the license to reflect this - thank you for asking :)

Interesting work! Lots of ute winter tiles with solid variety! You did a great job at doing the buildings! Keep up the great work for a first pack this is really solid, I for sure would go for a smaller resolution (like I did for earlier works). It helps you build a lot of fundamentals!

Lovely stuff, cheers!

thank you for the feedback, i'm glad you like it! i'm so used to drawing non-pixel art stuff that i always go for larger resolutions 😅 i'll definitely try working with smaller resolutions, thanks for the tip!

Feel free to use however you'd like, please credit me if you use! :)

You mean something like CC0 or credits are required?

I think I recommend you "pastel" tag

i think i put CC-BY-SA because CC0 means people don't have to credit you right? i'm not very good with the licensing stuff though so i might be wrong!

thank you for the recommendation for the tag :D

Yeah CC0 means public domain. CC-BY you must be credited but without copyleft, CC-BY-SA is CC-BY with copyleft

You are not bound by using existing licenses. License is a "contract" between you and user.

In general you can write something like this:

License:

  1. You can do X
  2.  You can do Y
  3.  You can't do Z

And it will be "considered" as license so you can use your any custom license. In general it consists of following parts

  1. Must user attribute the author?
  2. Can user modify the art to suit their needs?
  3. Can user redistribute the art?
  4. Can user use it commercially or only non-commercial use is allowed

But some creators use free cultural licenses usually from CC (Creative Commons) family
